10/23/04 - IDPA Match : It was a great turn out once again and we saw a few new faces. Welcome to all the new shooters. You can view your photographs on this site for this last October's match. This match included some different scenario that we normally don't use as a course of fire, although we should all practice it. The first course of fire was a one handed reload. If you were shot in the arm, what would you do. We had the shooters reholster, drop the magazine, reach for the new magazine with one hand and reload while in the holster, then wrack the slide on the outer part of the holster. Not an easy task but a possible real scenario. Our second course of fire included dummy rounds which caused malfunctions. It was your job to clear the firearm and recover.
